Dr. Rami Ahmed Prescribing Clinician
Dr. Rami Ahmed, DO, MHPE, FACEP, is a former U.S. Army medic and SWAT physician. He began working with Treated as a Prescribing Clinician in 2025, reviewing consultations with patients, assessing their treatment needs, and recommending (and prescribing) the most suitable options.
He is currently a Professor of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Ahmed is also a staff physician at the Roudebush VA Emergency Department providing care to U.S. veterans. With over a decade of emergency care and telemedicine experience, Dr. Ahmed also specializes in GLP-1 therapies, alternative treatments, and hormone optimization. His mission is to deliver high-impact care with compassion and precision.
